Recently, the 2024 CTG Scholarship Awarding Ceremony has been held grandly in the auditorium of Ricardo Palma University in Peru. This ceremony was attended by more than 60 people, including representatives of employees from CYPI affiliated to CYPC and LDS, representatives of teachers and students from Ricardo Palma University, and media reporters from China and Peru.

A total of 16 college students were awarded the CTG Scholarship. Representatives of scholarship recipients shared their personal experiences in learning Chinese culture. They expressed great appreciation for the honor they have received and hoped to continue their studies in China after graduation and contribute to cross-cultural exchanges between China and Peru.

Segundo Felix Romero Revilla, President of Ricardo Palma University, expressed sincere gratitude to China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) for establishing a scholarship program in Peruvian universities. He believed that this cooperation is not only a strong support for higher education in Peru, but also an important carrier for educational cooperation and cultural exchange between China and Peru. He hoped that more similar programs would be implemented in the future to further promote exchanges and development between China and Peru.

The "CTG Scholarship" program was established with funding from CYPC, and has been successfully implemented for three consecutive years at Ricardo Palma University in Peru. It aims to help students with excellent academic performance but facing tuition pressure to successfully complete their studies, and to open a window to the profound and extensive Chinese culture for local students in Peru. In the future, CYPC will continue to deepen cooperation with various sectors of Peruvian society, actively promote cultural exchanges and integration between China and Peru, and tell the "Chinese story" and "Three Gorges story" well on the international stage.
